I have spent years, no decades trying to remember to.....................
let phrases breathe, I still am constantly overplaying, but I think I have gotten better at letting the music "speak" and it sounds like you have too.

here's some restrained slow playing. Upon listening, I forgot to pause, I guess I was thinking too hard to play slow first and to not try to do 1/8th or 1/16th whatever notes.
