If this seller had only read Analog Man's Guide To Vintage Effects he would have known not to buy the FAKE TS-808 from that unscrupulous Korean seller. It's the SAME EXACT ONE - serial number 128352! It was at my shop several years ago when someone bought it from Fake Cat (tm) in Korea.

I think someone stole the original TS-808 board and swapped in his TS9 reissue board. THought he would get away with it :(

Fake Cat took it back when we told him how fake it was.

Somewhere out there (in Korea?) is a TS9 reissue that sounds really good ;)

If you get AnalogMan's Guide to effects pedals, you'll discover that it's written by Non-Digital Tom and that many of the effects (especially the vanishingly rare ones) are NDTs. I've got a lot of wierd stuff, but he's got all that and a bag of chips (the original Japanese version with the Germanium salt).:BEER

Hey folks, I pulled the auction. I had no idea it was a fake and all of that - I'm just glad that you all caught it for me. I got it from Guitar Center, so I'm taking it back there today. I'm going to make sure that they quit trying to sell this as the real deal.
