OK, well the "ultimate" list is already started. How about a "semi-ultimate" list? $25k budget...
I'd put a Thorn and a JG on my list...

Turner Model 1 would top the list for me...
...and you could add an Ernie Ball Music Man "Mr. Horsepower" Nigel Tuffnel signature axe, too...

A Gibson 1958 Reissue VOS Les Paul in Darkburst w/Wagner Betsets
and with the change a 1959 Reissue Historic ES-335 in
Sunburst w/Voodoo '59's and a Marshall 18 watt Handwired.
How much of that $25k do I have left??..

But if I had to have 1 more guitar I'd Get Scott Heatley to design me a Stormy Monday Blues Guitar. It would be either a Gold Top or a Dark Burst with a WCR Betts Set. Nice Fat neck, Jumbo Frets ..........see if he could do a little Fillmore inlay at the 12th fret. http://www.thegearpage.net/board/images/icons/icon14.gif:BEER

I would have to stick with the guitars I currently have and also have on order. (guild bluesbird, modded vintage reissue tele, custom made martin acoustic and on order I have a 53 tele relic and a Gauge Guitars singlecut with P90's)
the only things I think I would add would be a few more amps and another singlecut speced out like a 58 les paul.

For me, its my Gibson ES-5 with three P-90's. "They" are talking about this guitar when "They" say "Tone to the Bone!"
I'd really love a 57 strat, I think I could get a refin for that

I remember when I could get a Refinished 57 for only $2000 in the early 90's. :jo
I had dozens of 70's strats and teles for around $500 a pop.
Man I'd wish I held on to a few of them..............http://www.thegearpage.net/board/images/icons/icon9.gif
