Somewhat off topic, but does anyone know what the dimensions (thicknesses) of the top and back are on an Orca?

the stock Orca is a thin body (relative to a Les Paul)
My Orca was made with a thick body- 1 3/4 inch body thickness and 1/2 inch maple top.

Wow, I was reading the VG article and thought "no way, he cant get that deep a carve out of 1/2":messedup " I was thinking it was at least 5/8" if not 3/4". Very cool:RoCkIn

Yup... what gives it away is the "natural" / fake / "stripped" binding between the top and the body and the contoured "lip" on the edge of the top.
If you could see a 360 view of the guit you would also notice the neck heel carve (this pic refers to a Dolphin, but the neck heel is practically the same):

AC,
Yes, it is as JJ says. It is the best built guitar I've ever played in 25 years of playing including all the vintage ones from the '50s and '60s. There is absolutely no flaw that I can detect on this guitar, and it plays and sounds better than it looks. Could sound like a bunch of honeymoon BS to a lot of people, and yes, I do not know how long I will love it as much as I do now, but... I actually prefer this one over my '50s les paul Standard right now...
