i fell in love with the sound of a Gibson J-200. but im only 5'6 and have small arms. Is there a grand auditorium guitar, with that type of biggness and power.

I'm also small and gone through almost every guitar size out there. I've settled on the best guitar for me. Size and tone wise. 1946 Martin 0017. Also reasonably priced.

Biggest sounding small guitar I've got/have seen (not that I've played 'em all) is the Lowden S12, small body, mahogany, slightly chunky neck, big sound.

Two of the biggest sounding small bodies I've heard are a '46 Martin 00-18 and a '90's Collings OM-1.

I've got to go with Louden too. Beautiful sounding and looking instruments.
Another small but loud guitar is a Nick Lucas model. A few luthiers make them now. It's definitely different in sound compared to a jumbo, but they are really cool guitars.

i have a santa cruz om/pw. small body (even though i'm 6'2), and huge sound.
Gotta agree with the OM size. SCGC H style has a lot of fans as well.

Had a Martin 0001 for a while that could put a good amount of sound in a room (more than I expected for a small bodied guitar).

This is cheating - but the easy answer is the Baby Taylor.

I don't want to recommend a brand although lots of good ones come to mind, but get one with a 12th Fret join. In my experience smaller body guitars with the 12th fret join can sound absolutely huge.

Totally - it's like hitting a snare drum in the middle of the head instead of near the rim.

My '43 Martin 0-18 does real well in this department. Sounds much bigger than it looks.
Played a Santa Cruz OM today(not the pre-war "cheapie") that sounded great.
