Ok, so most gear and household appliances make use of these common fuses. My question is, does anyone know what the difference between AGC and MTH types is? I blew a fuse in my amp (actually from my Rhodes) and it's a 250v 4 amp MTH. I have a 250v 4 amp AGC. So can I replace it without worrying about damage to my amp? Are you sure?

Sounds silly, but it was a pain getting this thing apart, and I don't want to waste time if there's a problem.

Thanks

AGC is definitely a fast acting fuse. I can't find a data sheet for MTH, but at least one supplier lists AGC and MTH as interchangeable. A number of others list MTH as fast acting. I think the AGC would be safe to use.

Good enough for me - as is the fact that the back of the package said the two were interchangeable, as I found out after posting.

thanks!
