I'm guessing yes. I'd really like to hear him play it. Kinda uptown for him isn't it?

Jimmie is big into the acoustic sounds of guys like Muddy Waters and Lightnin' Hopkins. I'll bet he cooked this up, with Fender (owner of Gretch) because it's got the sound he's looking for and looks cool. With the pizzo, it seems to be really more of an acoustic axe...

Features include all solid wood construction, nitrocellulose lacquer finish, newly designed Fishman® archtop acoustic pickup system, and Grover® Imperial™ machine heads.
I bet it sounds sweet through a Roland Chorus..........http://www.thegearpage.net/board/images/icons/icon14.gif

Well, the Synchro is serious old school. About the same as a signature strat. There's only so much you can do to the existing design. Glad they brought it back though. Love the cat's eye soundhole...

All solid wood. I'll be $5K at least. Gorgeous guitar.

Uhm, it says right at the bottom of the page - US MSRP is $2,975.00.
It's MIJ or maybe even MIK.

Daves has one.......I wonder what the retail is? $2000 + for a MIJ or MIK guitar is a bit expensive IMO............
