How can you beat a Pleked Suhr at these prices? (around $1500 retail)

they look great to me, however i don't think i'll be getting one unless they can expand their options list to include a maple fretboard and three single coils. I would also really want the stainless frets. i love the idea of simple models though, i'm looking forward to trying one out sometime.

i think the pro series is a great way to get into a suhr...as long as your cool with the way it comes...

i dig em'

Well one thing worth mentioning is the Body route will accept HSH or SSS
So you could order a new pickguard.

We will come out with some other versions but we are trying to fill the demand for these first, Thanks!

Hey John what the stock neck shape on these like?

I just found out that we have a Suhr dealer in Thailand too. How cool is that? I will check it out.

I hope the 3 single-coil version Pro Series would come out soon. I don't like the HSS configuration. I think stainless frets should be the standard spec because it's one of the things that set Suhr guitars apart. Also, when the SSC system becomes more affordable, it should be on every Suhr guitars.

I tried a Pro series today and it was one badass guitar. Nice neck shape, vintage-y feeling. A maple board version would be most cool I would think.

Thanks John! I might be getting this one this weekend. I don't think that link to the spec sheet works. I tried it on your site and can't get it either.

Al ... Wacky links nowadays, you've got to right click, then "Properties" to get the full link.

thanks for the info John. the maple fretboard is the deal killer for me more than the pickguard/pup selection, i would suspect (i rarely play rosewood fretboards i love). are there any shops in the Toronto area that might get one through? i'm guessing that once you start to catch up with demand though, a maple fretboard is a pretty obvious option?

OldSchool- that thing is tasty! if/when I get a pro i would get that color option. I need to play a pro to see if i like the bridge then decide if i should order one.

i'm glad the Pro series is the Standard body and not Classic. Nothing wrong with Classic, just love the Std form...

This makes me very interested; are you perhaps planning a T pro series? With maple neck and a humbucker in neck position? Please? ;-)
