This is my very 1st post (ever) playing guitar in our band, Str8 Arrow Band... Ignore the average sound and video.. and the mistakes, but feel free to voice your opinions (gulp):worried

Care to guess what amp I was using?

It was hard to hear every note, but it sure felt good! I love Brad Paisley's playing. You are way ahead of me! And I'm a damned good player!

OK... the amp..... Fargen Blackbird - 2 6L6's, Keeley Comp, and Keeley BD2 used as a clean lead boost(no gain). Guitar is a Tom Anderson Cobra with mini HB's.

Great solo! I'm really impressed with the tone, especially since you were playing a 24.75" maple-on-mahogany guitar. What pickup setting did you use? What that just the bridge M3 or a combo in series or what?

I'm a Cobra player myself. Andersons are great guitars! :dude

I actually just turned on the TV in the hotel room when I was in San Antonio, Texas a couple weeks ago, and aI saw the Brad Paisley video "The World". I was totally impressed with his guitar playing and singing, as I have never heard of him before.
Then I went to go look for the CD, but couldn't remember his name, just that the name of the song was "The World" and no one could find it.
So how cool was it when I was on the Gear page this morning and saw your post. Now I can look for the CD. Thanks!

When I kick the lead in I flip the switch for full mini M3 bridge, and the BD2 for a boost... just got a Java Boost though and I like it alot...

I have 2 Andersons as my working guitars... the Drop Top Classic with a Floyd, a maple neck and a Sustaniac PU is my 'heavier rock' guitar, though I can use the Cobra on some rock songs. I love em!

cant guess what amp but I sure wish I could do that stuff! Divided by 13 is my guess though

I frickin wish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D Never heard of Brad Paisley... some of his licks are..... unconscious????

You nailed that Nashville sound

Wasn't trying for that but I do get a lot of compliments on my live sound. It's kinda weird, the BB isn't that awesome sounding by itself to my ears but with pedals it just comes to life for some reason??!

Great job!!! You nailed the tone :)

BTW, I read somehwere not too long ago that he tracked 37 - that's right, I said thirty seven! - guitars on that song. Crazy!
