With all of the buzz about the Artifacts in the recent discussions, the Legatos have taken a back seat, or at the very least, have been riding shotgun...
Just wanted to reiterate some basic facts, if I may...

I love the feel of telecasters - the neck, body and balance are just right for me...
I love the tones that a stratocaster produces... I guess that's why we still talk about 50+ year old tones that are now timeless....
To simplify things, the Vinetto, to me, has the innate feel of a tele, and the tones of both strat and tele, and then some. The Lollar minibuckers really impart, to my ears, 335ish tones. Add great playability and intonation to the above and you have a pretty amazing axe. These pics are of "A Vinetto with lots of Makeup". It's beautiful... but I don't want that beauty to outweigh (and it doesn't) the fact that it is one of the best guitars around... I'm not worthy.... thanks Vince!

What neck you got on that thing?

The big 50s V to C w/7.25 to 9.5 radius is just great.
Totally comfortable and playable.

A true S or T type with that neck would be completely killer!

This one is '65 C shape with the compound radius and it feels great. The pics don't do the birdseye justice at all.

Same to you. You can't argue with the honey burst/maple neck-board combo. Have to give the honey burst credit to Vince, though. I wanted a burst, he suggested honey. Again, the guitar sounds much better than it looks, and that I think says a lot....

Beauty on a guitar is a very subtle thing. These are runway models of guitars. Classic, and new, beautiful and functional. Could they be the perfect instruments? I am envious. I have to buy one............

I love that birdseye fingerboard! I've always disliked minibuckers, but lately I've been thinking that I should give 'em another chance.
