Just picked it up yesterday from my luthier Erik....
Lollar PU's, Hot-T in the Bridge, P90 and an underwound asym-Imperial PAF
Glendale Bridge. One-piece Swampash body, 3.25#. 15" radius Birdseye maple neck, dual action truss rod, graphite stabilizers, Sperzels.
The finish is essentially a dye, and nitro with a french polish.
The tone is ridiculous, this is a FAT tele, lots of bottom, airy highs and retains alot of ASS even in the upper registers. It goes from a fat spanking twang in ther bridge to full on ballsy skank with the '90 and the PAF just CUTS. You can play country to metal on this thing.
Without further adieu, let me introduce you to:

Unique, I dig it.
Play her in good health for many years to come.

can you explain the "french polish" aspect of the finish?

Very cool! Usually I don't like hockey stick headstocks but it looks good on this guitar.
BTW, where did you get the custom decal?

I don't know much about it other than it's the "old" method of applying a finish to an instrument.
Here's a few links:

..."french lacquer" = many, many, many 'thin' coats of lacquer, hand-rubbed applied using a cloth-ball instead of painted-on with a brush.

Humbucker
P-90
Single coil
A combination I've been toying with in my mind. This is the first gtr I've seen on TGP that has all three.
Do they work well together?
Are there spikes in DB's when you switch pups?
Is it setup to combine bridge w/ middle, etc? Does combining them work well?

1- Do they work well together?
2- Are there spikes in DB's when you switch pups?
3- Is it setup to combine bridge w/ middle, etc?
4- Does combining them work well?
1- Yes, Jason wound the set specifically for this application.
2- Nope
3-Yes
4-Yes, I'm still evaluating, some very unique tones, but somehow familiar, all the while adding some great tones to the palette. The bridge combined with the P90 is a glorious sound.

What's with the different bridge saddle material?
I bought the bridge from www.glendaleguitars.com (http://www.glendaleguitars.com)
Have a peak at his "saddle" page he'll explain it better than me:

BTW Dale is a class act!
