Just want to show it off...

After playing a buddy's strat, I realized I needed another Strat-type guitar, a light one with a maple board, thinner nut, v-shape (but no baseball bat).
I got this:

Now I have four Tom Andersons. I never thought I'd "collect" them, and I was looking at used Suhrs, Fender EJ's, etc. - but I felt I could trust buying this unplayed - and it is awesome. 5.6 lbs, great neck, great tone.

Very cool! Nice collection of Andy's. I've got one very similar to your cajun red one, only with a hum in the neck position. Love it!

Yeah, I thought for sure a Hollow T classic was next...looks like it's back at the front of my needs List.

BTW - all 4 of these are Hollow.

Thanks, John.
You are partly to blame, you know. Back in the ancient days of old school HC you got me interested in TAGs, and helped me out with a lot of questions. Thanks for that!

What's the extra compartment in the back of the guitar?

I have no idea.
I opened it up, it just gives access to some pot wiring, but that's it. No battery, no dipswitches (like on a switcharoo equiped axe).
Maybe that's what it's for - the dipswitches if you got the switcharoo.

Looks cool, tho.

Great collection Tom. I'm especially partial to the Cajun Red One.

I'd say you have the sonic front covered very nicely. Wow!!

That looks a lot like mine......and I LOVE mine.
But mine has a Brazilian Board and is solid.
But mine is a GREAT strat - I love it.
And that collection is amazing!

Thanks again, guys.
I really love this new axe. Great very classic strat tones, and super playability.

Wow, that 3-P90 one is gorgeous. Very nice Anderson family.
Yeah - that's a special one. Kindof halfway between a strat and a LP jr. With the short scale, I can really dig in. And the bridge pu screams.
Solid Rosewood neck, too!

Nice ax Tom. Didja get it from Richmond Music?

Really like the family shot.

Love my hollow-t, it's probably my favorite neck out of my gtrs. I went in to buy a cheap tele cuz I've never owned one. As soon as I touched the Anderson, the cheaper teles weren't even a consideration.
