Good amp tech

I need an amp tech to look at my 68 fender bassman head.

it started smoking and now it wont turn on...

im in riverside (40 miles east of la) ca.

anybody know anybody who is close and good??????

i dont care if they are in their house or have a shop!

the place i dropped it off at said 6 weeks and i just cant wait that long.

Since it's just the head, I'd ship it to David Allen of Allen Amplification, he knows his way around Fender amps and is quick. Try his email.

I'll second Mike's recommendation of Don Butler. He's done several tuneup/tweeks for me on a variety of amps, and is great to work with.

shit, I was just in Riverside Sun....my grandchildren live there....
anyway....if it doesn't need a new tranny, I can have it done by this weekend....
but I wholly endore Don, as well....one of the few really good guys
