I'm looking at getting this Larrivee C10 and was curious if $2100 is a fair price. Its a '97 Sitka/Rosewood with a little wear but not bad.

It seems a hair bit on the higher side of acceptable. I would maybe try to get it for $1900.

I like 90's larrivee's better than more recent makes. the neck was thinner, and i think the sound is just better. I worked at a Larrivee dealer for 10 years and saw the company change a lot. not too happy once they started the Martin copies. not that great and seemed to affect the rest of their production. and then came special models for GC... and other issues... we dropped them, which was sad as we were one of Jean's first US dealers

if you can spare the $2100, I think the guitar will treat you well. I have a C-9 with walnut and cedar that still rocks my world. and switch out that damn TUSQ saddle as soon as you get it. i'm using Mammoth Ivory now, but of course bone will sound 1000x better than TUSQ

I recently bought a 97 C10 on ebay for slightly less than $1500. I was
looking for this guitar as a friend of mine had one and I loved it. As luck
would have it the guitar was being sold by someone in my home town
and I was able to try it out. Ipve been quite happy with it. $2100 seems
slightly pricey to me but it is a fine guitar.

I agree...$2100 is way high..Add another 6 or 700 hundred and you can get off the assembly line and buy a real hand made..I see most of these in the $1200-$1500 range, B careful.

Good luck!
