Just a question for r/i 2245 owners or those familiar. If no input is in either channel,and the volume is partially turned up on the high treble channel,should the amp hiss and hum? Volume on the normal channel is fine. Sound familiar to anyone?-Thanks

I wouldn't think so because the input should be grounded out. Sounds like a bad ground on the input, or it's picking up something from somewhere.

For me I get noise on both channels starting around 8.

Where are you when you say partially turned up?

At volume set @2 or so,high treble channel hums and squeals .Does this indicate a problem? Only happens if I unplug out of high channel.Of course I could turn down volume,but being that this doesn't happen w/normal channel,this concerns me. Thanks
