i may be :horse (beating a dead horse) but i was just wondering:
the firepod has 8 inputs (great), can i record all 8 at once??? I assume so.
And i have the presonus headphone amp, where do i plug this into on the firepod so my band can hear a stereo mix?
Thanks

You can absolutely record all 8 channels at the same time although its a bit tricky with the included Cubase SE software. There's a headphone out on the front right side so use that to go out the the headphone amp. It's a great unit and I LOVE mine!!!

I love mine, and have used up to all 8 inputs.
I run my headphone amp out the back aux output or whatever its labeled rather than deal with the variable front input.

My guess is that the firepod will work with almost any recording program. I use mine with Garageband and it works great. There is a trick to getting the firepod to work with Cubase SE but it WILL work. I think the manual is pretty clear now because it LOOKS like you can only record like 2 tracks at a time but all you have to do is enable some things in the cubase and then it works great. This is also assuming that your computer is fast enough to keep up with 8 tracks of info coming into the computer.
