either of these pickups good? pros/cons?

I might buy an acoustic and the owner said theres a highlander in it, but the lutheirs site said they only install Headway FEQ pickups and recommend them...either way doesnt really matter to me, just a bonus but just curious if anyone owns either or... Thanks!

I like the way the Highlander stuff sounded. I heard a guitar before and after installation, and IMO, the guitar had something before the pickup was installed that it didn't have anymore when played unplugged, but sounded killer plugged in.

I have had Highlander pickups in all of my acoustics and my mandolin for several years. I have always been totally satisfied with them. I use the IP-2 system with the internal mic. I run into the D-TAR Solstice Blender and it all works to my satisfaction--and it's easy to use. Great in all sizes and shapes or guitars and all styles of playing.
The Highlander give what I consider to be an accurate tone. Not as much quackiness as other pickups I have heard.
I am surprised that I don't hear more about them on this discussion page. Of course, each of us has our own preferences....
