KFC INST. (http://users.bandzoogle.com/media/johnfindlay/media/mp3/KFC-INST-TEST-master.mp3)

minus the trans-fat...& vocals!

UPDATE:
I guess my subject line & description was a bit too cryptic! LOL!

Its a jingle for Kentucky Fried Chicken...safe to say now anyways.

The guitar is a Suhr Tele-I absolutely luv it!

The amp is a Fuchs ODS 100W-using Celestions V30s-great bottom end-t-tite! Luvvv the Fuchs-it records dyn-O-mite.

I know I sound like a Fuchs Poster boy-but it records reeeelly well!

here is the jingle with the KFC vocal hook at the end-if ya want to hear it...mmmmm....ka-ching...

Borrowing guitars is fun! Yours sounds pristine. I borrowed a 3 P90 Suhr. Love it, but will keep the LP for now.

Such a well-mixed and EQ'ed piece. I must learn to make mine sparkle like yers!

Hi John,

Great stuff as always.
I love the way you blend all those guitar textures.
Seems like the NAMM show will be a dangerous and tempting place with both Suhr and Fuchs on the premises. :D

Cheers,

John,

That sounds really, really great. I also really like the way the guitar textures and parts blend together in that piece. Cool!

As an aside, how do royalties work on that sort of thing, if you don't mind me asking? Is it purchased outright, or do you get some residuals depending on usage? Feel free to dodge the question.

Keep posting your stuff, I like it all!

Hi Steve-no-I did a search for old KFC jingles & found that on
this website dedicated to botched pop songs turned into jingles.

FAVORITE RETRO POP SONGS
RUINED IN COMMERCIALS (http://www.retrocrush.com/archive2006/popsongads/index.html)

As we all know there are SOOOO many...pretty entertaining!

Did you do that one too???

Hi Carlos-I hardly ever do jingles anymore-I'm not leather-skinned enuff to handle the heat!
My buddy/ex-boss still calls from time to time to help out in a pinch.
If he lets me write waht I want Ill take a stab at it & have some fun-
if I get the gig -great-if not-oh well...

I can Easily imagine you in the studio producing & Im sorry to
hear its tuff down there----but its now the same up here!
...all the good ol' boys have closed shop with huge royalty incomes--
I missed that boat...!
thanks for the lissy too!

Luv to get down there one day!!!
