Have a little dual 6v6 combo and play blues/classic rock. What pedal do you use to drive your lil amp?

My favorite booster for driving an amp or pedal is the Tech21 Double Drive. Seriously. For pristine clean volume boosts (no overdriving) I prefer the RC Booster.

CoT50 Red or a Timmy - perfect for 6V6 amps, IMO...

I like a Hotcake...

Or, sometimes a Zen Drive...

Really - with a 6V6-based amp?

I thought it was too muddy for my taste, but ODs are so amp-dependent.

What do you guys use with your Deluxes, if anything?

I use my Tim with both of my 6v6 amps and I am very pleased with the results. The Tim's eq allows you to dial it in as bright or dark as you want.

My new Klon seems to be a solid performer with my Rambler

It used to be a ZVex super duper 2 in 1 first, then a Durham Sexdrive, now a Klon Centaur. All 3 units are amazin, but, theres something about the Klon... I still do use all 3, but, mainly the klon. Its being used to run a Swart AST combo.

I loved, stupidly sold, and will be reacquiring shortly, the Burriss Boostier. Dead clean, tone control and a very Fender-y immediacy to it.

Best,

Michael
