I love this LP JR tone. I sold the guitar long ago, but what a tone!
Nick plays a P-bass through an SVT and Rusty plays a Glide through a mid 60's Fender Deluxe, working the vibrato. This was recorded the same day as the other clip.

Oh man! That one still hurts. This was many many years ago, just back from a tour that did not pay and rent was due. I think I sold it for something like $500 bucks...Ouch! You do what you gotta do.

I just found another song with the extact set up, same day etc. This time with a sax and a cool Hohner Clavinet which sounds a lot like a distorted guitar. Nonesense words, but fun. "GOOM BA BOME" is the chorus..
I'm just doing real simple chords, or following the sax line at times. That set up just sounds good to me.
