Has anyone ever played one of these? My wife was wanting an acoustic electric and I have a Samash card that I can use. Basically it's 13 months interest free. This seemed like a very good choice, what do you guys think?

Here is the link

that link went to a different guitar. if you're talking about the nv100n, that's the nylon string version?

See, by the name I thought the same thing, but that link shows a guitar with that name over to the right.

It says

FREE SHIPPING on this item! [details] (http://www.samash.com/content_x/freeship.asp) http://www.samash.com/images/spacer.gif
Washburn
NV100N Acoustic Electric Guitar
(WNV100NXX)

So that picture is a different guitar than the name they have given?

that's weird... i see only an EA9 mentioned. no mention of a nv100. i wonder if there's a bug with the way they handle cookies. maybe try clearing your cache or cookies.

the nv100n is not $200ish if that is what you are seeing. but in any case i have the USA version (no longer made) of the nv100 steel string and i like it alot.

You were right sir. After clearing my cookies, the link was different.
Basically, the guitar I'm looking at is 539$.

there are 3 models i think. nv300, nv100 and nv100n. n is nylon/classical style. if you want steel string, i have the nv100 and it's great. but mine is the previous usa model. they're now made in korea, but i wouldn't be so afraid. on mine, the only issue is the high string is awfully close to the edge of the fretboard. but it sounds awesome and is highly adjustable. and these are meant to not feedback even at high volumes.... if you find a good one, you might be happy.

I made the purchase. Come to find out the N doesn't mean Nylon, but Natural Finish. There is a nv100b and nv100n. Natural & Black. Can't wait to get it.
