Got a Nice Deal Yesterday

I got to talking to a guy on our current job the other day and he told me he had a tenant a few years back who got behind on his rent and ended up giving this guy a bunch of his things to make up the shortfall. One of the things was a guitar. He said he thought he remembered crediting the guy $250.00 for it based on mutual agreement and thought his son would learn to play it. well it just collected dust. I told him I would be interested in seeing the guitar and maybe we could work out a deal. he brought it in yesterday and said he would take $200.00 for it, so I went to an ATM at lunchtime and got him $200.00.

It's "CIJ" approximately '99-'02 based on the serial number. Pretty good shape overall. A few minor scatches . The neck is way fat, very nice playing and sounds pretty cool. :RoCkIn

I really want a Muddy Waters tele, I always seem to be a day late or a dollar short when a good deal comes up on one or even a 60's classic tele or (god help me) 60s classic strat, something with a RW board for a change.
