How do I make the 2 channels of a deluxe reverb reissue in phase with each other?

Similar question I posted earlier: How to get reverb into channel 1 of Fender deluxe reverb reissue? John Phillips kindly told me of a cool trick to accomplish this without any mods required, but I have read that by making the 2 channels in phase with one another that the reverb would then be available in channel 1. Can someone give instuctions on how to accomplish this?
