View Full Version : Looking for a Multi-Guitar Stand...

I am looking for a multi-guitar stand that will hold at least 3 guitars. I want to use it for a Electric guitar, Acoustic, and a mandolin. The problem with stands like this "Rockstand" (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/RockStand-by-Warwick-7Guitar-Folding-Stand?sku=455002) is that the neck of the mandolin is to short to stay in place.
Does anyone know a good multi guitar stand that will work for both guitars and mandolin?

I have a 3 guitar Fender briefcase stand that has adjustable bases so it would probably hold a mando.
Works reall schlick-like.

Those are pretty cool, but really expensive. Are there any other options?

Check out the Gator GIGBOX
It's a great pedalboard
and the top turns into a
3 guitar stand.
Two important pieces of gear in one
Supreme stability and functionality.

I have the tweed covered Gator version of the Fender briefcase-style, 3-guitar stand. It was quite a bit cheaper than the Fender version.

I don't need the pedalboard, and it's $200. I checked out the Gator briefcase but the neck holder doesnt adjust so it wouldn't work for a mandolin.
Anyone know of any others?

Can you hang the mandolin between 2 of the posts at the top of a Rockstand? If it is too narrow you may be able to get some thicker padding or add something to thicken it up.

I just found this. (http://cgi.ebay.com/TRIPLE-GUITAR-STAND-TRAVEL-BAG-CASE-ELECTRIC-ACOUSTIC_W0QQitemZ200071983473QQihZ010QQcategoryZ2 2671QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
I might try it.

I have the Warwick Rockstand, 7 guitar version, I can't fault it. Use it for gigging, rehersals etc, quite portable and very sturdy.
