New Boomerang info?

Has anyone heard an official release date for the Boomerang 3? I searched, but the only word I could find was "early spring 2007" from a past thread here.

As my common sense told me, I did check before posting. Their site only mentions upgrades from V1 to V2, no mention of V3. Most companies do not post information such as that so that they can continue to sell the rest of the older model until the release of the newest. This happened to me when I bought my MOTU 828, the new model came out 2 weeks later and I could not get the newer software without paying for an upgrade. This is what I want to avoid. Past threads have quoted emails from the company, but I was curious as to whether or not anyone had heard any updated release date.

I asked them via e-mail a week ago and haven't heard back from them yet

Originally was supposed to be release January 07, but last I heard it was delayed to March.

Maybe they're working on some last minute feature like being able to slave one Boomerang v.3 to another... in which case I would save up for two of them... one for guitars/organ, the other for digital piano, synths, acoustic guitars, etc.

I was impatient and bought a V2 in the emporium...it is awesome. Looking at what all the new bells and whistles are going to be, I decided that I really only need 2 loops for what I'll be using it for.

Here's what they told me last week:
"My best estimate is mid April for the Chorus/Delay pedal, and the
Rang(TM) III looper should be out before the end of May."

End of May, huh? That's good in the sense that it allows more time to save up some $!

ugh May!? ive been putting off buying a looper since summer '06 when they said it would be available in november! hope its worth the wait.

I know that Mike had hoped and intended to release it sooner. Stuff happens I guess. I use my V2 daily, but the features of V3 are compelling and I'm sure I'll get one.
