As cuz/karl said, COT 50 Gold (with Volume, Bias, and Power Scale Tone controls). Comes in an Eternity size box. Sean only made a few of them; I was lucky to nab one he had on eBay ($295 as I recall). It's actually just a tad fuller, woodier, and more natural sounding than the 50 Red. For those that find the regular COT 50 Red too bright it's a perfect solution. I loved the Red, but love the Gold more! Sean said in an e-mail exchange that with the Gold he thought he nailed any issues people might have had with the COT 50 Red, and I think he's right on.
While he doesn't have them on his web site when I bought mine I asked if he planned on making more and he said yes. You might contact him and ask if he'll make you one. It's well worth the extra $ IMHO, although YMMV. :-)

Thanks guys. One more question....? How much gain/sustian does it have when maxed out?
Thanks.

Can anyone compare the COT Gold vs. the Purple Plexi. Very different or similar pedals?

I have a Balance version of the CoT Gold and a Purple Plexi. The PP has more gain, volume and is more aggressive sounding. They sound like 2 different pedals to me.

I can't compare, but I really love my Purple Plexi, plenty of gain on tap (more than I would normally go for). I normally have the Vol on about 3-4, Gain around 5.5-6 and the Intensity maxed out. Was playing with it yesterday and my #1 Tele and it sounded phenominal.

Is the PP "Plexi" sounding?
With a Lil China and an Eternity, do I "need" the PP?
