Anyone tried the Tone tubby ceramic 10's in a BF Fender? What did you like or dislike about them.

I was thinking of getting one for my Pro Junior... I am interested as well.

On Thursday this past week I installed 4 Eminence Lil' Buddy's in my Blackfaced 73 Super Reveb. Not the TT 10's, but similar (10" Hempcone Ceramics). They replaced 4 Eminence Copperheads. They Lil' Buddy's aren't really broken in yet, but so far I like what I hear. They are not quite as detailed as the Copperheads, but they are much warmer than the Copperheads, and overdrive a lot better. They don' t have the upper mid spike that the Copperheads had (the main reason I replaced them). The top end with the Lil' Buddy's is quite a bit rounder. I find myself running the treble up at around 6 vs. 4 with the Copperheads.

I'll post more once I get some more chances to crank them up a bit and break them in.

They are really nice in my Champ inspired BF. Mids are far more pleasant and detailed than the Webers and Kendrick, Jensen inspired types I tried, more controlled bass, sweet highs to boot.

Thanks for the input. I just ordered a pair of tt10's for my vibrolux. I'll let you know what I think!
