Hi guys!

Remember the 80´s?

What do you think of Fender USA Bullets (81-84) -Designed by our very own John Page, according to Wikipedia.- I´m aware that they were aimed at the introductory market but, how do you like them?

Thanks in advance for your answers,

J.

I had an S-3 Fender (not Squier) Bullet from about 1982, I loved that guitar, nice feel, nice sound. Wish I hadn't given it up.

The USA (and early MIJ) Bullet basses had great Tele bass necks and the old Musicmaster bass pups. Very nice playing and sounding basses but inclined to be neck heavy. They can still be had for good prices on the used market

I had bought one in great shape two years ago for my nephew for $250 off e-bay and I had a hard time giving it to him. The neck was killer and the pickups sounded pretty good.

...got one for my daughter, but she never really took to it (nor playing), so ended up giving it away to a neighbor kid.

I had a USA Bullet Bass Deluxe that was a very cool mix of features. Good sound and a great neck.

my 1st electric guitar was an 81 bullet, the tele style one. I went and found another for nostalgia's sake a few years back. Great neck

I had an '84 USA HH with a coil tap button. That was a really nice guitar.

I have been GAS'in for one of these for awhile. I just haven't taken the plung yet. I have been looking for a guitar to setup for slide, and I am thinking one of these would be perfect, relativly affordable, MIA, and posses a little bit of older wood mojo...
