Yes! There's a whole whack of new delays (both analogue & digital) coming out this year. A quick search of the archives should turn up info on at least a half dozen or so.

I've already got some good'uns (and I'm waiting on a Toneczar Echoczar), but the Eventide's gonna be pretty hard to resist!!

Get a DD-20 today, and when the Eventide comes out, if you like it better, hawk the DD-20 and put the money towards an Eventide.

See? It's a perfect plan.....well, not completely; I've just never been very good at waiting.

the eventide looks really promising. i think the best part is that there are so many options and presets (unlimited with MIDI). Here's a link to gearwire.com that has some samples on how this thing sounds.

Very curious about the rumored Eventide harmonizer stompbox... especially since I haven't gotten around to restoring my old H910 and the Boss HR-2 seems best suited for making strange quasi-ethereal noises...

I was at Tone Merchants two weeks ago and they said they are planning on getting theirs in TODAY!!! I haven't called them yet - I'm actually stuck at home sick. I really hope they hold on to a floor model so we can try them out while they get snapped up.

Sounds great but is it worth it?. Maybe for recording but live?. Is it so great that the audience knows the difference or is it for the player?. Plus I hear u need a big power supply with a wall wort and you need an other pedal to control the amount of delay plus its 500 bucks. To me Delay is Delay when playing live. Its a subtle effect that enhances what im playing. Im sure the Eventide has better sounding quality efx but is it really worth the hype?. Thats up to you?

Whoa - time out - hold on. My bad, I guess I misunderstood when Tone Merchants were going to receive their shipment of Time Factors. I just called and Noel said he hopes late this month. I'm sorry for psyching anybody out - needless to say, I psyched myself out...

If only I didn't have a AD999 and I wasn't saving for a Matamp 1224 MKII, I would get that Eventide, looks like a good 'un.

I'm expecting to end up with the delay at the least. Maybe the mod too, if it sounds good enough to replace my Chorus and Flanger.
