i decided to make a separate thread to not over complicate the other one on the delay questions i just posted.

out of the delays, i am going to buy some wah. i do not have with those to much experience. i'd like to stay around $100 or below.
i'd really appreciate if you could just come with some options.

i know there is the GCB, the classic thing. anything else? is the Ibanez Wheeping Demon worth it? is there a real difference in sound quality on those units, i mean around the "$100"?

thank you

I really like the Rocktron Black Cat for under $100. Its not my "Be All End All" wah but I've had one for backup for quite a few years and its done a great job. Sounds pretty good and hasn't failed in anyway.

can you specify what is the difference or the extra thing with the fasel? how does it sound different? how does it sound actualy?
i tried for a short period the GCB 95, but that is all my experience with wahs

The GCB-95 had no bottom end. The Crybaby Classic w/Fasel is a nice full sounding wah, (doesn't kill your low end). I find it nice and vocal, smooth and sounds good with clean sounds and overdriven. They are in any music store, so go try one. Well worth the money.

Crybaby Classic or Vox V847 (if you can find a way around that horrible bypass)

OK you've sold me! Does the Crybaby Classic w/Fasel have a standard Boss type 9v jack to power it.

I'll speak from experience and say the Vox V847...

I had the Weeping Demon for a while. I liked it, but it was huge. I have a GDB-95 right now, but I'm planning to do some mods soon - I might just drop an Area 51 kit in it.

some time ago that's what i was looking at but...right now, it seems it is gone. you can hardly find one in the US, none here, in Europe

I got a Crybaby 535Q with Fasel used for less than $100... this was off ebay. It has nice features and gives you more options than the Crybaby Classic.

VOX Clyde Reissue may be a bit more than $100, but it sounds good and comes with true bypass

Yes. It isn't True Bypass, but the buffer seems good to me, I never noticed any tone suck.
