Hey folks,

Looks like there some Beck fans out there, sounds good! Here's a short improv clip I titled "Beckincallin" that has sort of a beck-vibe going on but put my own spin on it.

ive used and abused the shit out of the bar pull trill-trick... finding new ways to work the bar that beck, belew, and torn havent already explored/perfected is so phuckin hard.

that said its nice to hear someone who tastefully uses the bar. you do nice work.

Thanks Neil....and yes i know what u mean as far doing something totally unique and yet sounding musical and not cliche. I play mostly vintage strat style tremolo's but I did happen to play a Jeff beck model and American standard, and I noticed that that trem system is really sensitive to your touch, which explains why Beck can literlly emulate any voice he wants on it. I still prefer the old vintage style but I am now replacing all my steel blocks with titanium blocks...which is the best kept secret going on the the strat world now! I also prefer that springy/metallic noisy stuff that sometimes gets captured in recordings.
