New Peavey Classic 30 head. No sound when pushing the overdrive button. Tried it with and without the footswitch. Clean channel is fine. Just dead silent on the OD channel. All tubes are glowing nicely and are only a few weeks old. Worked fine yesterday.

A glowing tube doesn't mean that it's good. If you know which preamp tubes are in the OD circuit, try replacing those first. Otherwise, if you don't know which tubes pass the OD signal, try changing the preamp tubes one at a time. If this doesn't isolate the problem it's most likely a fault in the OD switching circuitry.

I would open it up and look over the wiring, sounds like a loose wire to me. Check to see that no components are blown out either, they will look burned and/or charred.

Is it new, there is usually a 3 year warranty on Peaveys. Where did you purchase it from? Places like MF and ZZ have 45 day return policies?

I had this same exact problem with an ENGL preamp, turned out to be a bad tube.

Thanks for the responses, I'll check the preamp tubes tomorrow.

Try turning up the volume on that channel.
