Building a head cab around a chasis...

Is there a good place to find blueprints or step by step directions? I'm going to build it with a friend, and I've been very successful following blueprints for various woodworking projects, but I'm no engineer, so I don't want to design it myself. Also, any place with tips on how to apply and wrap the tolex on, would be great too.

My friend is buying a chasis from someone. I don't know the exact dimensions yet.

It's just a finger jointed box. Any good woodworking book should cover the making of a suitable carcase, adjust dimensions to fit. It isn't rocket science.
