a little rough here and there, some backing tracks aren't exactly that inspiring to play along with.

Holy Strat into Marshall Batman! Jesus, that is one nasty-assed strat tone (that's a good thing). What pickups are in the strat? Is the overdrive pedal on for the whole song? Are you just using it as a clean boost? Cool stuff! Lee

cool thanks guys...Its YJM stock strat ( Hs-3's/YJM pickups) through a cheap mxr zakk overdrive turned up all the way. The amp is stock 78' jmp 50w without a bright cap.

AWWWWWWWWWWEEEESOME! :dude Just alittle clean up on the covering of keyboard solo section and it'll be perfect, then again like what carlygeetar56 mentioned...it's not an easy track to handle. Dig that tone!

Anyone checked out Mr. Big's cover of Burn, during Ritchie Kotzen's period inside there? Inhuman arpeggios in there i tell ya :jo

Awesome take on a tough one to play.

Sounds like you used the whammy...pls tell me you did, or I will have to burn all my guitars.

+1

That's a killer track! You nailed the sound, the timing, the vibrato... the whole vibe. The only thing (and I mean the only thing) I noticed that could be revisited is the guitar part starting at 2:54 (beginning of the keyboard solo). Otherwise, that track is just flawless. :BEER

Yes, it could be much cleaner in that section, I used play this in my cover band and it's been a while since I've moved around like that...plus I think the backing track may have been sped up a bit from how we used to play it..so thanks for cool comments and yes Kotzen is doing some INCREDIBLE lines/arpeggios on his version....he's an absolute monster player/musician!

But of course, the whammy is essential for capturing that Blackmore vibe! :)
thanks again
