63 bassman tube position

Hello,was wondering if someone could tell me which preamp tube position will make the most difference in a 63 6g6b bassman.(from left to right looking from back of amp) Thanks

The one on the end is the 1st 2 stages for the Bass Channel. The next one is for the 3rd and 4th stage of the Bass Channel. The next one is for the Normal Channel's 2 stages. The next one is the PI for both Channels.

So the answer depends upon which channel you're using.

Thanks for your reply JJman,so for the normal channel-3rd from the right looking at back of amp would modify your tone the most?
