I'm putting up some pics for my dear friend Seegs who took delivery of his K-line hardtail today.

Here's some quick info to get you going - he'll fill you in with the details I'm sure...

...beautiful guitar! Hardtails are awesome...much fatter tones than a trem-equipped Strat...

Thanx guys...it's a stunner...the finish and aging are very tastefully done..the pics don't do it justice...the pg is mint green and the knobs and pu covers are aged white...plays like butter...the body is really light and acoustically it sounds super well balanced and rings with sustain...

I put a treble retention mod. in and to had to rewire the tone controls so now the neck and bridge have their own tone controls while the middle is unloaded...first time I ever wired a strat like this and I love it...

at first I found the blonde middle pu a bit muddy and now unloaded it is almost perfect...

it opened the guitar right up and gave it more airy top end...the middle and in-betweens are way more articulate and sound just plain awesome...gotta do some final pickup height tweaking due to the mismatched set but so far I am more than pleased...

It's got the directness and spank of a BG tele and just enough stratiness to get the job done...the notes that pop out of this guitar are really big and bold...

oh yeah I almost forgot...thanx to Chrissy for startin this thead and to Chris for hittin another one out of the park...

go Brewers!

Seegs

I'm playing a Haar Strat, which is my number 1. But I also have two "LP" style guitars, which is weird for me, considering I had never been fond much of shorter scales

One is a TCM Taurus Std (Hums) and one is a LP (with P90s) made by a UK Luthier. Both are excellent instruments and are staying for now. The Strat will never leave me. :BEER
