Hello.
I'm a long time player but I have never fixed my own amps.
Now I want to start to learn about the subject, what books
should I buy, what webpages should I check out ?
Any info would be great.
Thanks...

Searching the Amp Tech Info thread archives right here is a good start.
Buy Dave Hunters book "Tube Guitar Amp Handbook", also any of the 3 Gerald Weber books.

...you'll learn more about how amps work from the late Jack Darr book: ELECTRIC GUITAR AMPLIFIER HANDBOOK, which was originally published by Howard Sams, but has been recently republished by Old Colony.
...it's also been posted on the internet as *.PDF files: http://www.pacificrecone.com/JackDarrBook.html
