Hey guys,

I have a question I am hoping the experts can answer here. I have a Matchless Clubman 35 and have been toying with the idea of putting it in a combo cabinet setting. However, I also remember hearing/seeing somewhere that you cannot do this with a Clubman due to the Clubman's EF86?? Does this make sense ? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks !

From what I have been told Matchless did 2 or 3 Clubmans in a combo. I think one was for the Black Crowes. The say that the Clubman is not stable in a combo. I have even been told not to set my Clubman on top of my cabinet. I hope that helps.

In addition to the stability issues, it would weigh a ton! The Clubman is a hefty tone making machine.

Thanks for the input guys!

I was wondering about the 'stability' factor and you confirmed it. I actually started to keep mine in a different roadcase separate from the cabinet and did notice a difference with a decrease in the extraneous noise factor.

It is a tone machine indeed ! I'll probably stay away from the combo experiment based on your input.
