I am wanting to experiment with the V1 on this amp. I have tried a JAN Philips, Fender “Special Design” GE, Tungsram, and the crop of new tubes (JJ, EH, Chinese...) At the moment I have a Raytheon that I completely love. I was looking to try a Mullard. What tonal differences do you all experience using a Mullard in this amp or a JTM45? I use RCA and GE tubes for V2 and 3
Also what other tubes would be worth experimenting with? I know there are a lot of different brands to choose from. Recommend some good ones

I have a JTM-45 and love the Amperex 12ax7's in it. It seems to give me more control over the tone controls. I also really like the TAD labeld Chinese tubes. They sound amazing in Marshalls.

Other good 12AX7s: Brimar CV4004 or RFT 12aX7 which is particularly good if you like earlier breakup and a little less brightness.

Thank you, what about Philips or Valvo? What would those do for this amp? Oh and Tesla?
Just in case it matters, I am running a Mullard GZ34 and a pair of GEC KT66 in the amp.
