Bill Delap guitars...

I have always been interested in his design. I learned about him from Holdsworth who uses his guitars exclusively it seems. I am thinking of placing an order with Mr. Delap. Does anyone have any info. on how long it takes for a guitar to be made by him. I think he's a one man operation so my guess is that it would take quite a while.

What kind of questions should I be asking him when placing an order??? Does anyone here have a Delap guitar? I know there's one on ebay but I want a slightly different guitar than that one.

Mr. Delap is a friend of mine. I very much admire his work. I'd be amazed, like in Houdini, if anyone could get an instrument out of him. I've been lusting after a special one of his instruments to no avail.
