Just wanted to know what you guys use if any. I use mostly a Comp. from time to time, and I have a Chorus, Distortion, delay, synth pedal and phasor from time to time, depending on the gig. But, 99% time it straight to the amp or with the comp. I do use a DI too.

Just wondering how far you carry the stomp deal here?

****since this was moved, I should ad FOR BASS!**********

A 535 Wah and a chorus usually get me by just fine. Typically it's just my fingers though.

I have a TC SCF which seems to work for me with bass better than guitar.

I really like the Boss CE-2B... the brown chorus pedal from the 80's... very light, sounds fantastic, not harsh or nasty like the newer digital pedals. Of course, it's even better on guitar...

Also been using an Ibanez TS-9 modded to 808 specs on one song, and I'm liking the light grind-y overdrive. Of course the distortion channel on my amp is pretty sweet sounding too... I have a Turbo Rat which can be kind of fun, though getting a usable sound can be a chore.

I've had pretty good luck with the comp side of a Rt66, a Rick Gram Womantone and a Marshall Bluesbreaker. Sometimes I'll throw in an Ibanez SB7 for laughs. I've never cared for chorus on bass though.

I just use a comp: a TL Audio Ivory rack jobbie in my large rig and the little EBS multi comp for my smaller rig.

Haha, Denyle, THAT is the comp I use! I have the older verison (USA one) that I use just the comp side of the rt66 for my bass! My secret is out!, LOL!!

None! I had a Chandler Tube Driver in-line but have since sold it. I'll likely get an XXL distortion box to replace it soon.

Dunlop Wah or whatever autowah/envelope filter I'm feeling at the moment and EH Bass MicroSynth.

I use one of the black Big Muff PI pedals pretty often. It's got insane fuzzzzzzz.

My friend has a ZVex Woolly Mammoth. It sounds... like a woolly mammoth. :D

A Boss tuner. I have three loud guitar players in my band so why bother with anything else?

I actually have a Fulltone Bass drive . It really adds great tone and gives me a few more options. Besides, my main instrument is guitar and the FT Bass Drive sounds great on that too!

I use preamp pedals, amp modelers.

a wide variety of sounds available here. Generally don't use an amp - just DI and IEM.
i play all kinds of styles - Blues rock, MOR rock, funk, jazz, soul - pretty much whatever people pay me to play!

I use a TU-2 tuner, a Verbzilla for a light touch of reverb on bass-only intros, and a Boss Bass EQ for a volume boost.

I only use one pedal, a Sadowsky preamp/DI pedal.

I've used the old EH Bass Balls on occasion, with good results. It's a tone suck when it's off, so I usually use it along with a switchable loop pedal. I've got an old one, but have been told that the re-issues are just as good. It's got a cool fuzz-with-envelope-follower thing happening.

Not something you'd want on all night, but a nice dramatic effect.
