I can't comment on the extension cab but I just demo'd the Markbass 1x12 and 2x10 combo's and found both to be very flexible. Though I was not trying to dial in anything specific I came away with the sense that it could suit most any style. The combo enclosures both sounded great - much better than I would have guessed given their diminutive size and light weight. I'm seriously considering picking up the 1x12 combo when a used example pops up for a good price - I really like 12's for bass and the little Markbass 1x12 was a little @$$ kicker! I'd say the cabs are worth checking out for sure.

I'd love to try them out. I'd like to try out the head but I'm a bit nervous about buying an amp with no US service available other than Guitar Center...

frankly, jack,

while the amps are quite fun to use, despite the annoying control layout (wtf are the freq knobs flipped?!), the smaller mb cabs suck. really. no semblence of low end whatsoever. even jacking the bass knob does no good. its like the cabs shelve @ 70Hz or something. :rolleyes:

thanks for the feedback. How do you think the markbass amp compares to the Epi 502 or iamp?

i dont think they're in the same ballpark as those two amps, but i guess i'm in the minority.
