I am curious if a regular sized hardshell case would be suitable for a Taylor Big Baby? The guitar is 15/16 sized guitar, although I'm not entirely sure what it means other than that it would be smaller than most regular acoustics. So therefore if I were to have a Big Baby inside a regular hardshell case, would there be a lot of movement if I were to transport the guitar around? What steps should I then take to minimize the amount of movement within the case?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

The taylor GA case fits the waist of the BB very well and the upper bout slightly tighter than the lower bout. I've had my Big Baby in a Taylor GA case for a while now and it remains stable.

Iralovesguitars, thanks for the response. Is there a particular model code for the case, or is there simply just one Taylor GA case?

SKB makes a molded case for them still. I think it's the model 300, sells for about 100 bucks

SKB 300 fits Baby Taylors , 3/4 Yamahas , and I have one for my Little Martin LX1 ,
"Big" Baby may be a different story .

Yeah you're right, my bad. Being an 7/8th size guitar it's hard to find. I wonder if Tamarkin or TKL make something that would be close.

it's merely any Taylor Grand Auditorium case. they have a specific waist size so now your choice is to find a Pink poodle case, a monkey fur case that's brown with black interior, a china case that's black and black, or a new taylor GA case with the "updated" pink interior. you may even be able to find the SKB taylor GA case. I usta have a SKB case with my 310ce but found a Taylor luggage case (brown exterior/black interior) with brass latches and it also had the preamp cutout for older taylors with the fishman systems and that's why i got it. i had installed a fishman blender into my big baby as well and was lucky enough to find a taylor GA case with the preamp cutout as well for about $89 that was also a luggage case. there are deals to be had!
