I've been waiting for these guitars to ship, and took the plunge @ Willcutt's this week. Eric, who is an absolute gem to deal with, sent me some pictures. You definitely want to see these, so if somebody can host a photo, let me know I I'll email them to you. Carolina number one will be coming my way next week and I'll post a review when I've had a chance to spend some time with it. In the mean time, its a looker for sure, that you'll want to see!:D

Very nice. I have several McInturffs, inculding an extraordinary Taurus Custom, and I'm very interested in the Carolina, too.
Enjoy!

I played Proto #2 and it was an extremely nice guitar, and awesome craftsmanship.

Congrats, nice score! Having owned several of Terry's guitars in the past, I'm sure this Carolina will be incredible. Terry's guitars are top notch , very high quality instruments, craftsmanship among the best I've seen. The only thing I didn't like about my McInturff's was the pickups, but I believe Terry is now offering a number of pickup options. Someday down the road I'll have one of these. Please let us know how it sounds and plays.

I played Proto #1, and will say that's an absolutely amazing instrument. I think you're gonna be very happy with this guitar.

Congrats. i almost went for one. Was going to have trapezoid MOP pearl inlays (alla Les Paul), but backed out. Your pics make me want one again.
Enjoy and give a full review when you can.

Wopw, what a stunner. I'm deeply envious! Terry is a fab builder and a really cool cat.
Congrats, Dana O.

I thought Chris Hall's black "Carolina Custom" was production axe #1.
Agree with all the positive comments about Terry's workmanship and demeanor. He is a true gentleman - a real nice cat. Plus, during his 25 (or is it now 30???) years in business, he has likely forgotten more about building and finishing guitars than many will ever know.
Best of luck to Terry with the Carolina!

I am in my 31st year as a full-time luthier...and could never, ever cease to appreciate the support of kind folks like those here at TGP. Many thanks indeed to all!
