Under A Good Sign (http://www.soundclick.com/util/streamm3u.m3u?id=5293875&q=hi)

ya -the reverse! the song is just 3 minutes but I kinda looped the end
and did a long solo-nothing flashy-just trying out the Fuchs with the
Love Pedal Cot50-I wanted that kinda broken speaker sound.

The only bummer is I tuned up a semi-tone-so I could play in A[the key is Bb].So the strings were pretty low on the neck-makes for a few bumps with the slide. Anyways if it gets too boring you can crack open a beer or somthin'..

Im gonna be travelling overseas-so I mite not be around over the summer too much.Ive made all my songs available on my website for free download.
So DL away if ya like-and leave a comment in the guest book-that could really help me down the line.

In the fall-hopefully Im going to start a 2nd CD-this time with a whole-real-live band-in a studio with a real engineer and machines with big knobs that also go 'ping'...

thanks
JF

Hey Scott!-I just got an email from Steve!Ya, he mentioned you!
Its Tele versus Fuchs-I couldnt use my Bardens at all with the Fuchs-the Fuchs tells it like it is-and it said "those Bardens are Brittle".

Not the neck so much-but bridge & even the out phase position was unusable..hopefully the next set to go in will be great![Xcited]

Are you still modifying stuff-I tried to follow the goings on but lost track?
[Ill have to call you].

And what about yer clips-recordings-where are they? No fair!

Im going to:https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/flags/ch-flag.gif

John,

What can't you do.......damn.

Slide is an elusive beast but in your hands it sounds like it's a piece of cake........

I'll be visiting your site some more and spreading the word!

I hope you get a chance to play some blues for us before you head out.

If not, have a great trip and tear it up!

Yeh! Cot into the fuchs. That sounds amazing here. Nothing fancy?? Damn John, the slide is sweet. What mic into the GR?
Really looking forward to the distillery. Then you're off to China? :dude

p.s. I heard a rumour Little Feat/Tower of Power might be at the Port Credit Jazz/Blues Fest. Hope it's true. You should be playing there too.

spreading the word!
hey chuck-big thanks for stopping by my guest book-'ringing endorsments from players like you guys mean tons!'
Hey-i have an interesting slide technique:I pracise on the song for about 4 hours-then in frustration
I totally give up and have a break-then I get pissed off cuz its time to pick my kid up at the bus-and i give it one last shot---thats the take that makes it-then i tweak it a bit...me sillly!

What mic into the GR?Hey GP-just a 57-I tried my Rodes Classic 2 also recently-pretty full sounding-
but i only read need mids for this rockier sound.
I looked at the LF web-no mention-actually I may play the Shuffle this year..
my drummer Rick gratton knows Richie so Ill ask him too...

Love the timpaniChris-ahhh-was wondering if id gone to Specter there...somehow it just makes it..;)

stringed thingspaul if things work out over there after this exploratory stay[6 weeks]-
then Im going back-but Ill prolly be set up to post clips from there-
if Im allowed to...that is...hehe....

he vocal reminds me a little of John Hallthats a new one -i get alot of little feat-james taylor-or the guy from Squeeze-Chris Difford-anyway know that ive been using the mic pre on vocals WOW!-so clear-so much easier to record...moey talks...bs waddles...

hey frank-thanks for listenenenene..

J-Man -triple thanks! Hopefullt Il start humming a lot less...
