Looking for some info / opinions. Has anyone had the chance to compare the the Suhrs against the Llolars? If so I would love to hear what you ended up with and the differences.
Thanks, Brad

Jason Lollar has 3 Tele pups. From what I heard the Suhr Classic Ts have a bit more midrange so I would guess that the Lollar Special Ts and the Suhr Classic Ts are quite similar. I have not heard them in person though. I currently have a Lollar 52 set at home but not yet installed.

I am afraid this is not of much help. Do you think your guitar is a bright guitar or a normal to dark guitar?

I thought that the Lollars were quite a bit rounder than the Suhrs. The Suhrs have a great bite and spank that I just didn't get with the Lollars. I have tried a couple different sets of Jasons Tele PUs and really do prefer the Suhrs.

All that said I am really digging the new Dimarzio Area T bridge and neck.

Mastervolume,
Thanks for the info, would you say the Dimarzio's are a big improvement over the US fender deluxe tele S1 noiselss pu? I am looking for a replacement for the S1 pu's they are too muddy / dark. I have the vintage lollars, but like you said they are very round the reason I was looking at the Suhrs. I love the Suhrs V60lp in my strat, but would love to stay with a noiseless option. Still loving the CT 22 I bought a while back, what are you playing through now?
Thanks, Brad

Yeah get the area t's! they are really great. I think that the suhrs are more vibey and I really like them but where I play I stand above all the power amps for the house and I need a silent option.
