View Full Version : Can anyone confirm the Eventide Time Factor works with a SLO fx loop?

Okay I'm reversing the effects loop mod I just did on my SLO to try and get it to work fine with my Line 6 DL4, I'm selling my DL4, and I'm getting something that will work fine with the SLO and probably be a massive step up in delay quality at the same time!
The Eventide Time Factor stomp box has caught my eye in a big way...but can people confirm it will run at the correct level so it doesn't squash the OD channels signal on my SLO if I run it through the effects loop?

Probably not since they haven't been released yet.

IIRC it will run line or instrument level.

What do you mean not released yet...there is a distributor here in Australia who has it on their website as something you can purchase...not to mention Musicians Friend as well...?
And am I to assume that line level is the +4dB and instrument level is the -10dB that my SLO doesn't like?

They are not due at Musician's Friend until 5-31-07. Here's a link. As with all Eventide products, I'm sure this will be awesome.

Ahh I missed that bit...however the Aussie site that I alluded to didn't say anything about a "hold" on them.
Well I could pre-order one of those providing they wouldn't mind shipping to Australia, could also get me a Peterson SS2 while I'm at it too. In the meantime though I've got word that the humble Boss DD20 Giga Delay can run at anything from -20dB to +4dB which would be ideal...so in the meantime I might get me one of those to try out and see if my mate (who I know has one) will trade me for my DL4 since he doesn't need to worry about line levels with his Peavey XXX :p

Apparently the Aussie place is expecting them late June early July...oh well I'll try the DD20 in the meantime and apparently the T-Rex Replica has an adjustable level on it too so that might be what I'm looking for. I just want one good delay, not a million!
