Anybody mind putting some tab up of the intro, with timing notes? What I'm playing just isn't coming together right.

Thanks!

I could be wrong but I believe Keith plays that one in standard tuning.
Anybody know for sure?

Beast of Burden is in standard tuning. The timing is key. It's WAAAAY behind the beat. It's not very easy to get the right timing on it. I recall learning it very quickly one night at practice and working on the feel of it for months.

Try this for starters.

Em - B - C#m7 - A

I think it's E Major....B - C# min - A

Thanks for the help guys!

For what seemed a simple song, it's been a lot tougher than I expected to nail. Joe had it right when he said it takes a bit to get the feel of it.

I remember seeing a tab that had you playing a barred B major chord and hammering down the D and G string to get an E major, them hitting a double stop in the E and B string at the 7th for the B chord, them a C#m chord, then fret the B string at the 4th fret, strike it and slide up to the 6th fret and double stop the B and G strings at the 5th fret for the A chord...sounds pretty close...
