Some Goodsell Super 17 clips

I've just been digging my new Super 17 amp so much this last week that I thought I'd post some clips of it.

I recorded a backing track of drums and baritone guitar and played over it with my 64 strat and 57' reissue goldtop Les Paul to show the different tones.

One of the clips of the strat is clean and the other with a bit of dirt.

The guitars were recorded with no effects but I added a bit a reverb at mixdown.

Wow, that sounds great Joe, the od sounds real touch responsive. You can definitely hear when you dig in it growls...sounds like a winner.....

The clean Strat clip almost like a nylon string or acoustic/electric. Very nice.

Is there any other processing going on in that clip? What do you think contributes most to that sound? Amp, guitar, strings, etc.

This amp is very touch sensitive. You can set it up to play clean or dirty by how hard you pick.
Also, when are you going to release a CD?

I recorded this direct with a shure 57 on the cab then directly into my computer. There is only a little reverb added at mixdown. The clean sound would be attributed to setting the gain to about half and bringing up the volume a bit. Also I didn't dig into the strings as much as the other clips.

Excellent clips, I love the tones that amp produces. At NAMM, Melancon Guitars had a Super 17 for demoing. I liked his guitars a whole lot, but the Goodsell really left an impression.
