I'm building a JTM45 type amp and have a question about wiring the pilot light. I think I have a 6.3 V light that hooks up with the heater wiring. Is it as simple as running the two green wires from the PT to the pilot light, and then connecting the pilot terminals to the first power tube via another two wires?
Almost, I would run the two green wires from the PT to first power tube socket then the pilot light to the same two lugs on the socket or if your PT has lugs you can do it like this, click for larger picture

Thanks for the reply, V846. I have a question about your JTM45. How did you wire the choke? I've seen the debate as to whether the choke should be wired before or after the OT's center tap. What did you do?
I did mine with the choke after the OT center tap.
Don't know for sure if any JTM45 was ever wired with the choke before the OT center tap even though there are schematics showing just that so perhaps it was used occasionally.
Some of the very earliest JTM's had a massive choke which could have been wired as a pi filter.
Do a search here, should answer some questions
